WHAT CATCHES US?
Do you ever watch a motivational speaker and think (as you’re on day 187 of feeling out of control) that the only thing on their daily plate is 8 hours of Zen activities and preparing seminars? That they’ve achieved euphoric bliss-dom and it holds?
Who all wakes up and within 5 minutes, overwhelm sets in? Every chore, errand and goal comes crashing in at the speed of light and you can’t assign each a time spot or rank in the importance chain fast enough? ( That or the “I’m not BLANK enough” bunnies turn into gorillas.)
HERE’S THE SECRET: Those in the seminar spotlight analyze what can fit in a 24 hour period and they calendar in “catch up” time blocks as well as a plan “B” and “C”. They duct tape (psycho-analyze to fix) part of the external leaks of others presumed and real needs cutting in on their master plan THEN flow with the other part.
The only difference in them vs us besides the fact they dressed to kill for their presentation, is a continual Paradigm Shift. ( a fundamental change in approach or underlying assumptions. ) Their “Plan-Do-Review” gets analyzed & revamped before it can scream LAZY SLOB FAILURE to their psyche… Here’s some help:
A- LIST UNDERLYING REALITIES/CONDITIONS
I’m auto-immune, have an autistic child, osteo-arthritic, work a 65 hr wk etc.
B- GIVE THE PLANNER 10 MINUTES OF REVAMP EVERY DAY
Do not avoid jotting down what happened & how to remedy
C- ACCOMPLISHING 2/3 OF THE INTENDED LIST IS GODLY
Everything can’t happen FIRST all at once and no amount of time completes an entire project. Start attacking parts of it NOW
D- MOTIVATIONAL GURU’S WREAK WITH MOTIVATIONAL SOURCES
